A piston or plunger is the part that moves under pressure inside a cylinder or valve. Its OD and seal grooves set how well it holds pressure; a dome or stepped face sets how it seats. Out-of-round or oversized and it drags or blows by.
We machine piston cores and plungers in brass and stainless, single and multi-step, spline-integrated, dome-top, with seal grooves cut to your seal. Matched pairs turned in the same run stay dimensionally identical.
