Pins & Studs
Turned pins, studs, dowels and connecting shafts: located, grooved and cross-drilled to your print.
A pin or stud locates, connects or transmits a small load between parts. Dowel pins align, connecting shafts join, grooved pins retain. The diameter tolerance is what makes the fit, so these are turned close and often ground.
We turn pins, studs, dowels and connecting shafts in steel, stainless and nickel-plated brass: grooved, cross-drilled, ball-end, hex-tail, stepped with mounting blocks. Diameters held to fit class.
